The Mentor Program pairs post-secondary students and graduates with a health professional or health professional student for 6 months. This program is designed to give participants access to individual mentorship, webinars, and additional resources that will provide a competitive edge as participants prepare for the next steps in their health career journey.

Eligibility 

• Be a high school graduate, undergraduate/postgraduate student, or recent graduate

• Be from a population/group that is underrepresented in the health professions

• Have an interest in pursuing a career in health

• Ability to meet with your mentor at least once a month during the 6th month period (in-person or virtual)

• Freedom to meet at times that are convenient for both you and your mentor on topics specific to your health career journey

• Bi-monthly webinars featuring current health professionals with expertise in a range of topics from financing your education to self-care for health professionals with access to recordings

• Supplemental workshop opportunities on topics such as mock interviews and personal statement review
